POLARIS

3D art direction and motion design for the launch of Polaris's new robotic pool cleaner range, developed as part of a wider campaign that exceeded all internal KPIs across social and display. The brief: elevate the brand's existing product visualisation to reflect the technical sophistication of the product and reposition it credibly within the premium tech space.

Concept

Reframing the product: Polaris's existing 3D assets weren't communicating the technological complexity that sat behind the hardware. The creative direction repositioned the product visually, moving it away from a conventional consumer appliance aesthetic toward something closer to precision tech.

Design

The animation was developed in two formats from the outset: a longer-form version for TVC and display, and a faster abridged cut for social. Iteration on the styling was led by client direction toward a visual language aligned with their broader campaign rather than a purely agency-led aesthetic, the final output balanced that requirement against the premium positioning the brief demanded.

Delivery

The finished assets spanned TVC, social cut-downs, display, and key visual applications, a single production workflow generating output across every campaign format. The scene was built as an adaptable template: camera, lighting, transitions, and timing locked off around a swappable product container, so that once the core animation was approved, additional models, could be introduced without rebuilding the sequence. Each product carried different proportions and internal component structures, so the transition from schematic to construction to final reveal was designed to accommodate that variation, with the template providing a consistent visual logic across the range.
